Hook & Loop System for affixing headliner to sun roof module.

aplix® 224 aggressive gripping elements positioned on the sunroof cassette:

  • Provides very aggressive performance values when used in conjunction with aplix® 800 loop.
  • Material: polyester base with PP gripping elements
  • Specialty backing: High Performance PSA, EPDM with HP PSA
  • Widths: 20mm and 25mm (please consult us for other widths)

aplix® 800 texturized loop element positioned onto the headliner:

  • Uniformity of the height of the loops ensures a reliable attachment
  • Material: Nylon 6.6 texturized loop
  • Specialty backing: High Performance PSA, EPDM with HP PSA
  • Widths: 25 and 50mm (please consult us for other widths)

Once the headliner is positioned under the sunroof module, simple pressure ensures the fastening of both components. Hook elements on the sunroof modules engage into the loops located on the headliner and yield a secure engagement.
