An intuitive resealable closure for flexible packaging
Easylock by Aplix® is an easy open/close, 100% recyclable system for reclosable flexible pouches.
This patented solution consists of two food‑grade, heat‑sealable polyethylene hook‑to‑hook self‑gripping strips designed to be welded onto film. The micro‑hooks interlock with one another, making the pouch easy to open and close.
Unlike zipper systems available on the market, the Easylock by Aplix® solution requires no alignment and maintains high performance even when the hook area is potentially contaminated. This ensures the freshness of the contents.
This closure provides a true tactile and audible sensation. When consumers close the pouch, they are reassured both by the sound it makes and by the tactile feedback. In addition to guaranteeing a properly closed pouch, Easylock by Aplix® offers users a new and enhanced experience.
Easylock by Aplix® is already used and recommended by many manufacturers in sectors such as pet food, cheese, cereals, detergents, protein powders, and more. This closure system is also ideal for reusable bags: it can be easily opened and closed at least 50 times and is also washable.
